Serial #HK425196, .35 Whelen, 26 inch heavy barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the 1996 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Commemorative SB2 Ultra rifle manufactured by Harrington & Richardson. The gun features checkered laminate stocks with a commemorative medallion, engraved receiver and commemorative marked scope. This limited production, special edition rifle was offered in 1996 and 1997 for promotion of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The metal surfaces retain 99% plus original blue finish that has no visible signs of wear. The right side of the frame is marked “ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION / 1996 COMMEMORATIVE EDITION". The checkered tan laminate hardwood stock rates excellent. The buttstock features the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation commemorative brass medallion on the right side and has a factory vented recoil pad. There are no provisions for sights but mounted to the factory Weaver base is a Weaver Grand Slam 1.75-5X32 riflescope. The scope is also a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation limited edition and features a duplex reticle with bright, excellent optics. The hammer is equipped with a spur extension and included is an Uncle Mike’s leather sporting sling. A great large bore rifle perfect for large game hunting that is in excellent condition. FFL
