Here's a Exceptional Example of a Colt 1911A1 U.S. Military issued Transition gun shipped in 1924 . Serial number 708,813 . We went thru this whole gun . Gun has all the correct parts in it and the original wood checkered grips. Has correct mag. Gun has most all of its blue finish still remaining . Some light edge wear and lite handling marks on the finish . Overall outstanding condition. Bore and mechanics are in Excellent Plus Condition. Gun locks up tight. Original sights are in Excellent Plus Condition. The original wood grips are in excellent shape with some lite handling marks . Magazine is in Excellent condition . Great gun !
