We offer you a “High Condition” All Original Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Westerner Rifle in .264 Winchester Magnum Manufactured in 1961.
This Westerner model 70 rifle is a one owner gun and has been sitting in a safe for decades. It was cleaned up for the photos but might still show some grime here and there in the pictures. The rifle is 61 years old and in excellent plus condition as you can see. It is all original with no alterations to the wood or metal. The factory sight hood is still on the rifle and all the screw slots are clean. The stock shows light marks from use and sitting as shown. The metal condition is very clean with the bottom metal looking like new which is not very often seen. The 26 inch barrel has a mint bore with no issues as you would expect. The left side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN U.S.A. / WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL", -WINCHESTER- / -TRADE MARK-” -MODEL 70-264 WIN. MAGNUM-". The left side of the barrel at the receiver and the receiver at the barrel are marked with a circled “WP” proof mark. The left side of the receiver is marked “WINCHESTER / -TRADE MARK-”. The right side of the receiver’s chamber ring is marked “520573” which is also hand-scribed on the bottom of the bolt body.
Many of our estate firearms have been stored for some time and a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $65. It will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
