Very nice Union Switch & Signal 1911a1 manufactured in 1943. Rare 1911 as only 55,000 made. Has correct P inspection mark on top left side of slide. Correct double spaces between "1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Has serrations on front sight, square cut on rear sight. Barrel is marked HS. Appears to be all original. Barrel shows strong lands, some frosting/pitting in bore but completely shootable. I will include a new GI spec unmarked barrel at no charge.
