Description:
This Winchester Model 71 Deluxe was manufactured in 1946 and remains in beautiful condition. Wood is solid and shows very few marks of any kind and fits proud to metal. If it has been restored it was done professionally. There are a few light areas of oxidation on barrel, receiver and lever. Receiver also has a few scratches and some blue wear, mostly on top of receiver. Barrel is stamped on right side "Made in USA Winchester Repeating Arms - New Haven Conn.". Left side is stamped "Winchester Proof Steel - Model 71 - .348 W.C.F." All metal stamping is still crisp and clear. Original sling swivel studs still in place. Absolutely beautiful! .348 Winchester
