THIS STUNNING SURVIVING EXAMPLE OF THE WW2 BRITISH COMMANDO F-S KNIFE SURVIVES IN NEAR MINT+ CONDITION. IT HAS THE /|\ B2 MOS PROOF MARK OF WHICH IS ATTRIBUTED TO WILKINSON SWORD MANUFACTURE. THESE USED TO BE RELATIVELY "COMMON" WHEN I STARTED 40+ YRS. AGO. NOT SO ANY MORE! I HAVEN'T SEEN A "B2" F-S STILETTO IN A LONG TIME. THEY HAVE DISSAPEARED INTO PRIVATE COLLECTIONS. THIS EXAMPLE IS FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION. THE 6 3/4" DROP-FORGED, HAND GROUND & HAND SHARPENED BY MASTER BLADE GRINDERS AT WILKINSON'S REMAINS IN PRISTINE MINT CONDITION! THE CROSSGUARD SURVIVES IN NEAR MINT SHAPE. THE HAND-KNURLED GRIP IS EX+ TO NM, WITH ONLY LIGHT HANDLING WEAR. THE POMMEL NUT IS FACTORY PEENED, AND UNTOUCHED. THE SCABBARD IS IN SUPERB NEAR MINT CONDITION. THE ELASTIC HAS SEPERATED WHICH IS OFTEN SEEN THIS WAY. ALL FOUR TABS ARE PRESENT!
