I have for sale my totally original 1959, second year, Browing A5 Light Twenty Gauge Shotgun. The screws are perfect on this gun. This A5 has spent most of its life in a safe, and fired very little. The original rust bluing is pristine as well as the reddish finish on the stock. If you seen anything in the pictires that looks like a scratch or blemish it is not. Just lighting and perhaps fingerprints. I think the years from the late fifties until 1962 are the golden years for A5’s, as in 1963 Browning began salt bluing the guns which in my opinion is not as an attractive finish as the original rust blue. Of course, this A5 is Belgium made, and the barrel address of “Browning Arms Company St Louis Mo & Montreal P.Q.” is correct for the year of the gun. It sports a 28” vent rib barrel which is choked Modified. This gun would be hard to upgrade except for new in the box. It would elevate most A5 collections. Auto5's in this original condition are getting hard to find. Please do not hesitate to contact me with reasonale offers or questions. Please add $75 to the price of the gun for Insured Shipping.
