this is a rare gun. the model 55 is the only winchester model that more take downs were made than solid frames..according to surveys by bert hartman of the 2012 winter winchester collector magazine 84% were take downs and only16% were solid frames. besides that rarity only 8% were the 25-35 caliber which would mean that only 264 solid frame 25-35 model 55s were made..i have only seen my two and according to mr hartman my two now make only 25, 25-35 solid frames recorded. no wonder i have never seen one anywhere else. the gun is in good condition. if you want something that nobody else for a very reasonable price has this one is for you. payments are possible. 660-730-8411
