Offered for sale is this AS NEW Orvis built sport rifle.
Built on the respected Sako L61R action, this controlled feed action is chambered in 30-06, the classic 'All American' universal round. The stunning unblemished blued receiver with jeweled bolt and barrel compliment the finely figured Walnut stock in the way only a classic sporting rifle can. Perfectly executed fine line checkering and shadowline cheek piece on a LOP of 13 3/4" finished with a classic "Old English red rubber recoil pad, the rifle advertise quality as does the feel of the bolt and crisp trigger set to 2.5lb. This custom built rifle has a 24" barrel with a mirror bore, a two position safety, a removable floor plate to allow for safe unloading of un-used cartridges and is ready for the addition of Leupold type rings on its rotary dovetail mounts. The rifle has sling mounts fore and aft and is ready for an expedition!
