Description:
Colt 1911 Black Army (1918) U.S Property military 45 auto, with holster. Iconic Colt 1911 pistol was manufactured in 1918 (the year of the odd blueing, giving it the nickname "Black Army"). Left side of the frame is labeled "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", Eagle head inspection stamp behind trigger. Right side is stamped "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY No. 545746". Stampings are crisp and clear! Checkered original wood grip panels. Includes original 8 round two tone magazine. This pistol appears to be in excellent condition for its age and has been well kept and oiled by a highly particular collector.
