SALE PENDING.....LAYAWAY? Serial numbers #293 & 299, .44 cal, 2 1/2” barrels with bright excellent bores. This is a lovely set of pistols retaining about 99% original brown finish and vibrant case-hardened colors. There are dual silver bands at the breeches and the facsimile Deringer markings and proofs remain crisp. The German silver hardware rates excellent with pineapple wedge escutcheons and triggerguard finials. The metal surfaces are further embellished with nice quality light foliate scrollwork. The checkered walnut stocks remain in excellent condition. The locks seem to function well mechanically. The hardwood case remains in excellent condition and is lined in red baize and satin containing the original accessories including a silver-plated powder flask, color case-hardened single cavity ball mould, walnut-handled nipple wrench, turnscrew and a brass-tipped ramrod. A fine pairing of these nicely-made reproductions made by Uberti in limited numbers.....S/H $30 .Thanks, Greg #124-125
