Winchester began production of the model 1912 (Model 12) in August of 1912 and produced approx 5,200 units that year. This gun is serial # 22xxx, first full year production 1913.
Factory 25" barrel - Shiny factory bore and full choke.
2 1/2" chamber. I have some Wesley Richards 8's and 5's we can talk about.
The action is tight and smooth, like new.
Thinning blue all over.
At some point somebody put a coat of finish on the stock.
