Description:
This pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 features a control round feed action, large Mauser style claw extractor of positive feeding and extraction, walnut Monte Carlo stock, hinged floor plate magazine for safe unloading and a three-position safety. It has a folding leaf rear sight and bead front and a Redfield 3x-9x Scope. It is in very good condition. Manufactured 1959. The versatile .338 Winchester cartridge can be used for thin skinned game but also has the stopping power to be effective against Brown Bears. .338 Winchester Magnum
