Description:
Remington Model 788 in .243 Winchester. The Remington 788 was designed as a less expensive alternative to Remington's Model 700 and other competitor's models. The design features such as the rear lugged bolt and single stack magazine resulted in a very accurate rifle. The action uses 9 lugs, and this resulted in a 60-degree bolt handle lift compared to 90 degrees on the model 700. This provided more clearance for scopes. The .243 Winchester is a popular sporting rifle cartridge and is ideal for hunting both small and medium game. This Rifle is in very good condition. .243 Winchester
