Description:
A flick of the hand is all it takes to eject a spent cartridge and load a new one in the Browning® BL-22 Grade II Lever-Action Rimfire Rifle. The BL-22's action cycles with a short 33° lever throw, without your hand ever leaving the loop, making the BL-22 nearly as fast to shoot as a semi-auto rifle while retaining the reliability of a lever-action. The trigger stays with the trigger guard/lever eliminating finger pinch. The receiver is machined from solid steel, is grooved for 3/8" scope rings, and has scroll engraving. The barrel, receiver, and all exterior metal have a high polished blued finish. A gloss finished, checked walnut stock and forearm accentuates the LR-22's fine lines, while bringing out the beauty of the walnut and protecting it from the elements. A folding rear sight and a dovetailed, steel blade front sight provide rapid sight acquisition and fine accuracy. The tubular magazine is convenient to load, and the BL-22 functions flawlessly with .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle ammunition.
