Description:
A best quality 12 gauge sidelock ejector by Arthur Turner of Sheffield. Built in the mid 1920s, this gun is the classic British game gun. It has 28" chopper lump barrels choked improved cylinder (.005") and modified (.020"). The gun was originally proved for 11/8 oz loads and has been reproved for 850 bars. The chambers are still 21/2". The straight grip stock has 141/2"LOP over a leather covered pad,11/4" at comb,and 21/4" at heel with 1/4" cast off. The action is fully engraved with English scroll and ribbons. The gun is in excellent condition with the barrels on face with no play. The stock is highly figured dark European walnut and is free of any cracks or damage. Cased in an oak and leather case. A great gun for all types of upland birds or fun vintage clays shoots.
