***SOLD*** REDUCED!!! Rare All Matching Colt (Hartford Colt) made for Argentina Government 1927-1928, in 45 auto. This is one of the 10,000 guns ordered from Colt, with the unique distinctive markings established by the contract! The serial number (3181) is properly marked on three places, slide, barrel, and frame, under the mainspring housing! All matching! The gun also features the Argentinian inspector marks "RA" and "R" through out (slide, hammer, grip safety, etc). Beautiful correct checkered walnut grips, in really good condition! The Bore is outstanding for the age, no rus, and the grooves and lines show no wear at all!
A lot of these guns went through arsenal and they were parkerized, that's not the case with this piece. This gun still has the beautiful bluing typical of the 1920's Colts! It has some wear as expected from a gun this old, and used as military carry guns! The magazine has a higher serial number, but at least is an original Colt Mod 1927 magazine!
the gun is fully functional, and it has a very crisp trigger pull.
This would make a great addition to any collection!
