Otherwise pretty much as it left the factory many yrs go. Configured much like the much sought after Mountain Rifles with slender stock dimensions and barrel contour perhaps slightly heavier than the Mt Rifle and finished in matt rather than high polish blue.
Rem. used a particularly soft compound on the recoil pads at this time and they are not the best but are easily replaced.
In 35 Whalen these are esp sought after by Moose and Bear hunters.
