We are pleased to offer this pristine example of the famous Weatherby Mark V rifle with Lazermark oak leave motifs. A stunning gun, Howa manufactured, it features a factory fitted muzzle brake which is serial numbered to the rifle, a perfectly mirrored bore and 99% factory original bluing showing Weatherby's high luster finish. Weatherby’s are well known for their strength; this magnum rifle has a nine lug bolt and uses the durable "Three-rings-of-steel" design for extra strength and structural integrity and it can handle the heaviest loads. Taming that awesome firepower is a stock with a Monte Carlo comb and cheek piece, a factory fitted Weatherby recoil plate and a forend that has a flat bottom making this a gun ideally suited for shooting from sandbags and branches while also providing a ergonomic hold for off-hand shooting. The magnificent Claro Walnut furniture is complimented with slim maplewood spacers framing the rosewood grip and forend caps with the pistol grip cap also featuring an inlet maplewood diamond. A hooded blade front sight and express rear sight add a touch of the class to this elegant rifle. The action is tapped and ready for the scope of your choice, until then the holes are fitted with brass keepers. Additional features include a quick release magazine floor plate, a 54-degree bolt lift and a trigger breaking at 2.8lbs.
