Description:
I am selling my Diana, after carefully purchasing it and painstakingly caring for it.   It is truly an excellent gun.  I am selling it at a reasonable price, so that someone can add it to their collection of enjoy using it in the field.

Here is the vital statistics on this gun:
1.  The barrels are 28"    This feature was important to me, since I think this barrel length will retain its market value in the future.
2.  The grain of wood is the best of the 50+ Dianas that I have looked at.  I would rate the wood condition to be about 98"
3.  The blued metal is in excellent condition.  Not a single ding or scratch.   Like all Superposed, it has the "forestock rub" on the barrel that can be re-blued if the new owner prefers to do that.  I would grade the blued metal to be 99%.
4.  The engraving is spectacular.  There is not a single discoloration, scratch, or blemish on the engraving.  I would rate it at 100%.   It was engraved by R. Coenen, who was one of their master engravers at Browning back in the glory days.   Please take a close look at the engraving.   It is so good that sometimes you want to pick the gun up and just look at it for 15 minutes and relish the amount of craftsmanship that went in to making it.
5.   The year of make is 1974.   It is not a salt gun.   This wood was chosen from the best wood that Browning had available in Belgium.
6.  It comes with the original box that the gun was sold with (see photos).
7.  The action is excellent.  I would rate it 100%.   See photos.   The break is still very crisp, and the lever is right of center.
8.  The gun is choked Mod and Full.   This feature was also important to me, because I think this combination will also keep increasing the value of the gun vs Skeet/Skeet chokes.

Of course, it is very hard to have a 100% perfect unblemished gun that is 48 years old.   Here are the few imperfections I have found:
1.  A few tiny "dents" in the finish coat.   These are superficial, and do not effect the wood.   The are each about 1 millimeter in size.   These are shown on the last couple of photos.
2.  A tiny chip in the finish coating where the finish coating meets the long tang of the gun.   (see last photo).

I have a LOT of extra photos I can send to someone, if they are truly interested in the gun.  Please let me know if you would like some more info.

Thanks for looking!
