Description:
SOLD    This Winchester Gallery Gun was produced in 1948. The rifle's serial number is 86366. This gun has the standard 24 inch barrel chambered for the 22 short only. The magazine tube has the gallery speed loader cut out. The receiver also has the "Winchester" advertisement stamped on the left side. This rifle is in mint unused condition! There is no wear marks at all! The stock and hand guard are in as new condition. The original bluing would rate as new 100% condition! This rifle also has the very rare barrel lettering where the lettering is forward of the rear sight rather than where it is normally placed. This gun also has some of the original packing grease present. This is a very stunning gun! You rarely find minty Gallery guns as these were working guns. To find a gallery gun in this fine of condition with the very rare barrel lettering is a real find! This gun would be a prized addition to any fine collection!
