Description:
Beautiful custom built 20 gauge boxlock ejector. built on a 1928 J.P. Sauer barreled action. This gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked improved cylinder (,008") and modified (.015"). The action has deep cut engraved fences and sideclips to the action. The receiver and breech are outlined in gold wire inlays.The rib is inlaid "Daly Special" in gold. The gun has a single selective trigger,ejectors,and a scalloped receiver. The barrel bores are mint and the barrels have 23/4" chambers.The stock is highly figured European walnut and has beautiful 30 line checkering on the pistol grip,sidepanels,and forend. The trigger guard tang is engraved "A.H.Heinen Chicago". I do not know at this time if he was the builder or the person who had the gun built. I am researching to find out. This is a very high quality gun that would cost a fortune to built today. A great all around upland bird gun and a super clays gun. C&R eligible.
