Doc Holliday's Pistol Parlor is pleased to offer this incredibly rare and beautiful Smith & Wesson S&W .32 Safety Hammerless Third Model revolver
- 113-years old
- S&W letter authenticating one-of-a-kind "special" ordered revolver including gorgeous:
- Factory ivory grips
- Factory two-tone "Pinto" blue & gold finish
80-85% of the original lustrous blue finish remains.
As well as a commensurate amount of the original, special factory ordered glamorous gold finish on the cylinder and grip safety.
There are some areas of underlying gray metal along the exposed edges and projections.
The trigger retains about 80% of the original, slightly muted, color case-hardened finish.
The special factory ordered ivory grips/stocks with gold S&W medallions are in excellent shape with mellow age toning to a caramel color and fine visible grain.
The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly.
This gorgeous revolver is accompanied by a 2016 S&W factory letter that authenticates ship date as October 21, 1908 to the Charles J. Godfrey Co. (importers & retailers of British and European shotguns) of New York City.
The S&W factory letter also authenticates "single unit shipment", "special" finish and ivory grips.
This incredibly rare, factory two-tone "Pinto" blue and gold “Lemon-Squeezer” has lots of original finish remaining and rates excellent overall.
