Description:
This L.C. Smith Ideal Grade remains in very good overall condition. Between the years of 1912 and 1950, 26,686 of these Ideal grade were manufactured in Fulton NY. Wood is solid with a crack on left forend, some flaking finish and some light scratches. Butt may have been cut and shows some flaking near Pachmayr butt pad. Original blue is very good with a few light scratches. Nice case color is still visible with some light oxidation starting on receiver. Bore is excellent! Still a beautiful gun with lots of character. 20 Gauge
