This is an original Smith & Wesson Model #66, No-Dash, K-Frame .357 caliber Combat Magnum in Stainless Steel, serial # 2K84142; equipped with a 4-inch barrel, relieved cylinder and the original checkered Cocobolo wood grips with S&W medallions.
This weapon has been well maintained and both the pistol and the grips and may be considered to be in very good+ to excellent condition and has been well cared for. The bore looks excellent. The action is completely creep-free and adjusted to a lighter trigger pull. The are no stress cracks and no distortion to be seen on the forcing cone at the base of the barrel; a condition which is sometimes evident in .357s’ that have had extensive use due to the high powered loads consistent with this caliber. The Model #66 will be provided with the original owners’ manual and paperwork as well as a professionally copied version.
