Description:
30 inch barrels with very good bores. Wood is in very nice condition with some handling marks but sharp checkering. May have some varnish added. Looks great. Colt buttplate. Gun is nicely engraved with a dog and birds on one side and couple more dogs flushing birds on the other. Typical tight scroll engraving. Trigger guard has a duck flying on it. Fairly high grade engraving. These Colt Doubles were nicely done guns. The barrels retain 60-70% Damascus pattern that has started to fade slightly. The receiver has a considerable amount of case color turning a nickely color. Trigger guard has about half the blue remaining. This is better than the average Colt SxS.
