Description:
Extremely rare Krag Jorgensen 22 caliber Gallery Practice sporter with a Stevens-Pope barrel. The barrel is 22" and has a mint bore. The rifle is in excellent condition retaining 95% of the original blue and wood finishes. It has a Lyman rear peep sight and Lyma target front sight. In 45 years of collecting,this is the only one like it I have seen. Note the article in the photos from Flaydermans 1998 catalog that tells a little about these rifles. They were appartently built for commercial sales to clubs,national guard teams, or owners of Krag rifles.A fine addition to any collection. C&R eligible.
