SOLD!! Up for sale is an early Model 12, that some consider to be a pre model 12 because there is no model designation on the gun. Remington did not stamp the side of the receiver with a model number until 1913, and this one was built in 1912. It has the straight stock, and a 10 groove forend, that remain in quite nice condition. The metal retains a good amount of the original factory blue finish at about 65-70%. The bore is rather dark, with visible rifling present, but would still be shootable. The barrel has the original sight package intact, that has not been banged around, and the original tang sight screws are still present, and untouched.The original steel cresent butt plate is in good shape, with the UMC logo.
