U.S. Whitney contract 1798 flintlock musket .69 caliber with a 43"" smoothbore barrel. Overall good condition with some "" combat"" damage noted on the wood forward of the lock area. Metal is a dark plum patina, bayonet lug is missing. Great early contract musket!
