Description: Hammerless Sidelocks - This is a wonderful example of what the London trade could produce between WWI and WWII. The English trade consider this period to be when the absolute best English shotguns were built. Built in 1924 this fine sidelock features modern stock dimensions and best chopperlump barrels with bright shiny bores. The fine rose and scroll engraving and the wood are certainly not hard to look at! The case appears to be the original vintage makers case which is getting extremely rare to find these days. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 4739 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection. |
