Hi,
Letting this beauty go from my collection. This is a very hard to find, Winchester Model 53 44-40 Takedown Rifle. Serial number 3192, this is a nice early rifle, serialized on March 16, 1925. How do I know? Because I am responsible for conducting a Survey on the Model 53, you can find details on the survey on Winchestercollector or in the associated Winchester Collector Magazine :)
The gun is in beautiful, all original condition. Approxinmately 90% plus overall and original condition. The wood finish excellent, with just some very light handling marks, blue is dark and excellent with most wear under the frame at the carry point, the bore is as new.
$5500 plus $75 shipping.
Please note that as I am in Canada, you will need to import the rifle. Borderview (://borderview) is one among several importers you could use, it is easy and reasonably priced. The $75 shipping I ask for is to get it to the exporter for you, here in Canada.
