The Swedish M 38 Short Rifle was the result of the trend toward service rifles that were shorter in length yet not as short as cavalry carbines. Purpose built M 38 rifles were produced between 1942 and 1844. This rifle has had double set triggers and a quick detachable scope mount with Hensoldt scope added at some point. 6.5x55 Swedish
