THIS STUNNING EXAMPLE REMAINS IN SUPERB SURVIVING CONDITION. THIS MINT BLADE IS A FULL 7", WITH A NEEDLE POINT TIP. NOT COMMON ON EARLY DROP-FORGED HAND GROUND AND SHARPENED EXAMPLES. THE BLUED CROSSGUARD IS ALSO MINT. ON THE HANDLE SIDE IS STAMPED "ENGLAND". IT IS ALSO STAMPED BROAD ARROW 21 (/|\ 21), THE MOS (MINISTRY OF SUPPLY PROOF MARKING). THE /|\21 MOS INSPECTOR IS NOT OFTEN SEEN ON CDO KNIVES! QUITE SCARCE! THE HANDLE IS MARKED WITH THE MOLD #4, WHICH INDICATES WOLVERHAMPTON CASTING CO. THE HANDLE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT PLUS WITH ORIGINAL PATINA. NEVER BEEN MOLESTED. THE POMMEL NUT IS UNTOUCHED ALSO. THE ORIGINAL CORRECT WW2 SCABBARD REMAINS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT IS MISSING THE RETAINER STRAP, AND REVERSE BACKING PIECE, WHICH IS NOT UNCOMMON OF THE MORE DELICATE SCABBARDS MADE FROM FINE ENGLISH GLOVE LEATHER. THE FOUR TABS ARE PRESENT! MANY TIME COMMANDOS WOULD REMOVE THEM SO AS TO BE ABLE TO SLIP THE KNIFE INTO THE SPECIAL POCKETS MADE INTO THEIR BDU'S (BATTLE DRESS UNIFORMS.OVERALL, A DIFFICULT KNIFE TO FIND IN HIGH CONDITION.
