Description:
Well used and hunted with but also well taken care of. One owner for the past 40-50 years and basically unmessed with. Sling swivels added I think and the bedding hump in the forearm sanded away to free float the barrel. Sights original. Lots of original blue on the metal and the aluminum buttplate is original to this timeframe of manufacture. Lots of scuffs and finish loss to the wood along with many light scratches and small dents but no cracks or repairs. The figure in the wood is the best I've seen, most on both sides of the butt, straight grain through the grip and mostly straight in the forearm to resist any warpage. It seems to shoot very well, fired cases look entirely normal and function is as it should. The 22" barrel retains most of the factory blue and no dings or noticable scratches, bore is bright and shiny. This is a used gun with lots of charactor and would serve a new owner well. Look at the pictures carefully to see the true condition. I couldn't see any other flaws, return accepted but looker pays shipping both ways. Call with questions. Insured shipping is $40 to lower 48.
