.78 caliber 27.75"" swamped octagonal smoothbore barrel circa 1750 by Morgenroth of Gernrode. Very attractive Bone inlay and carvings are noted in the stock. Barrel is a ""gunmetal"" patina with some thinning noted along the edges. Action is nice and tight with adjustable set trigger.
