Description:
Serial #378746, .32 S&W Long, 4 1/4" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few spots of mild freckling within the grooves. This is a handsome little revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor, with the metal retaining 85-90% of the original blue finish. There is silvering and fading along the sides of the barrel, as well as along the high and exposed edges, with a moderate turn-ring on the cylinder too. The hammer and trigger have about 70-75% of the original color case-hardening remaining, with the balance turned freckled gray. The checkered, diamond-center walnut grips are in very good shape with some minor handling marks and flattening of the points on either side. The interior has a faint, barely legible number in pencil, and appears to be numbered to the gun. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a very nice example of a pre-war .32 Regulation Police, and rates about very good overall. FFL or C&R
