24" step-tapered round barrel inlaid "John Rigby & Co London England" in gold, with flush full-band matted-ramp front sight and flip-up white bead, full-band swivel base at point of barrel step-down, and integral matted stub rib with 1 standing and 1 folding express sight. Fully figured European walnut stock with ebony forend tip, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, recoil crossbolt, engraved steel trapdoor pistol grip cap with Rigby logo inlaid in gold, classic comb, beaded pancake cheekpiece, vacant gold initial oval, inletted rear swivel, mercury recoil compensator inside, and solid black recoil pad. Magnum-length, controlled feed Brno magnum Mauser action (cocks on opening; fires with safety forward) with jeweled bolt, extractor and follower, 3-position Model 70-type safety with S in gold, checkered bolt stop, crisp single-stage trigger and drop-box magazine with hinged, straddle floorplate. Serial number inlaid in gold on front receiver ring. Swarovski Habicht 1.25-4x24mm matte-finish, 30mm-tube scope with their No.9 duplex reticle on Holland & Holland quick-detachable mount system. Light floral scroll engraving on receiver, bolt knob and bottom metal and with a lion's head surrounded with a gold-inlaid rope border on the French gray floorplate, signed B Burgess. Pull: 14 1/2". Weight: 12lbs, 5oz. Signed inside the barrel channel by the individual craftsmen who built it. London nitro proved in 1997. 99% blue. In Kalispell airline case with Rigby nameplate.
