A RARE example of the Colt Commando with provenance, a lower 4 digit serial number of 6071 and Flaming Bomb proof. This particular revolver was purchased by DuPont and used at the Hanford Nuclear Facility. DuPont "Designed, constructed and operated a plutonium plant for the Manhattan Project, which would be used in Allied attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945."
Please see all photos for normal wear. Entire revolver appears factory including the grips. The original Colt letter is unfolded and supplied to the buyer. Please email or leave a voice mail for contact.
This comes with the Unfilded Colt Archive letter, reproduction numbered Colt box and paperwork as pictured ($200 value). Shipping $65 insured to the Continental US. Must be sent to an FFL or directly to you if C&R.
