Description:
This is an excellent example of a DWM Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1917. It is all matching, has the proper "Crown M" navy proofs, and has an un-altered safety. "1917" dated on the front sight and left side of the frame. One of only ~15,000 produced in 1917. It comes as a rig with a black leather Navy holster, rare Navy shoulder strap, and a "Crown M" marked Navy magazine pouch. Also comes with a faintly Navy-marked magazine that is numbered but not matching to the gun (tiny crack in the wood base). The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear on some of the high edges and some light spotty wear on the front strap. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of noticeable pin-pricking on both grip straps and along the whole barrel (especially around the muzzle). Comes with a set of nice un-numbered wood grips - small chip in the top corner of the left panel. The bore has good rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
