S&W Double action 3rd model .38 revolver in excellent condition nickel finish is in 98% blue has some thinning on the bottom of the trigger guard. Traces of case on trigge, good blue on hammer and latch. 4" bbl.bore is very good bright and shiney with sharp lands and grooves with some light pitting. Gun has been in a vault for 50 years. It is in need of a good cleaning to show it's true potential mechanically perfect. Functions and locks up like new. Has a beautiful pair of rose wood extension grips also comes with a second pair of factory style logo extension grips ( not pictured ) that look new.!
