Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with about a good bore. Some shine with visible rifling and a few scattered light pits. Barrel is a plum/brown color as is the full length mag tube with some original blue remaining in the protected areas. Sights include a flat top sporting rear and a beaded blade front. Receiver is a brown/gray coloration with some initials lightly scratched in on each side. Good working action. Buttstock is in good condition with some light handling mars. Nice fitting. Forearm is in a little rougher condition with mars and dings. Crescent butt. Not a bad old Winchester from 1902 that would be a great "Cowboy Action" rifle. Hard to these 44 caliber 1892's!
