Custom Ruger #1 in 270 Winchester attributed by the original owner to be an early Jack Haugh custom. This is only speculation at this time. Regardless it is a very handsome rifle.
Very high grade European walnut stock which the owner paid $1,600 for the blank 30 years ago. The stock has a trap style metal butt plate and metal grip cap. LOP is 13.5 inches.
The barrel is 25.5 iches long and is the original Ruger pre-warning barrel and has a barrel band.
The metal finish is a rust blue.
A superb custom rifle.
