Classic Winchester Model 95 in 30 Govt 06 cal.
Well taken care of for almost 100 years.
Wood has been replaced and left proud to the metal. It looks and functions fine.
Apparently the original owner was a very successful hunter. On the original stock there are over 200 notches in the forend indicating Pennsylvania whitetail deer harvested.
And 9 notches behind the lever on the butttock for black bears.
The original wood is pictured and goes with it if you want.
Bore looks frosted with strong rifling, I'd rate it a 7 or 8 out of ten, still accurate and functions perfectly.
