Will consider reasonable offers. This Jas Golcher Philadelphia Plains Rifle has a brass lock with engraving is marked JAS Golcher Philada, the hammer is engraved. This rifle also has a brass patchbox with the Golcher name and the company name "Eagle Rifle Works, Philadelphia PA" appears on the inside of the patchbox lid. These Plains Rifles were sent out west and sold to the Indians. The octagon barrel has engraving on the top measures approx. 34 1/4 inches and 50 1/4 inches overall length. Good looking bore, 44 caliber or there abouts.Double trigger action functions properly. The rifle was built using a “JAS GOLCHER/PHILADA” marked lock plate with some light floral designs that extend to the hammer
