We offer you an “All Original” Stevens by Savage Arms Pre-War 22/410 .22 LR over .410 Gauge Combo Gun.

This version was the predecessor to the Savage Model 24 which was actually introduced by Stevens as the Model 22-410 in 1938. By the patent markings we believe it is a Pre-War model. The left side of the .410 barrel is marked “STEVENS”, “SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION / CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A.”, “MODEL .22-.410”. The right side of the .22 barrel is marked “.22 LONG RIFLE”. The right side of the .410 barrel is marked “PROOF TESTED .410 BORE / 3 INCH CHAMBER”. The right side of the receiver is marked “PATENT 2259397”. Which is the patent number awarded for the barrel selector switch (October 14, 1941). The bottom of the forearm is marked “PATENT PENDING”. The bottom of the butt stock is marked “PATENT NO. 2238901. Which is the patent number awarded for the plastic formula for the Tenite stocks (April 22, 1941).
Both stocks show small marks and scratches as you can see but have no cracks or repairs. The bluing on the barrels is in very fine condition as shown. The 24 inch barrels both have excellent bores with no issues. The .22 barrel extractor works just fine as does the .410 ejector. The selector switch is tight with no looseness and functions just fine which is not usually the fact after 75 plus years. The gun was tested and worked just fine. The case colors on the receiver are in excellent condition as you can see.
Many of our estate firearms have been stored for some time and a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended.

This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $50. This rifle will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.

Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check.
All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s.
