Description:
For sale is a very rare and high grade BC Miroku Model FE-II sidelock ejector. The bar action Holland and Holland style sidelock is highly engraved with a stunning hand cut Holland Acanthus style. This model was the highest grade shotgun manufactured by Miroku and one of the finest shotguns ever produced in Japan. It to vals any of the BSS sidelock models imported through Browning. This model was intended for the European market and was not imported to the US due to Browning's agreement with Miroku. This particular gun offer an excellent value (for comparison, the Browning BSS sidelock is the same gun finished to a lower standard and yet costs about the same as this gun).
The European walnut has been fashioned into a slim splinter forend and a butt with a capped pistol grip and an old English Decelerator recoil pad. The action and stock are balanced by 26" chopper lump barrels that are beautifully struck. The barrels have been threaded with Briley thin-wall choke tubes making this gun very versatile (4 Briley chokes included). Other details include a hidden 3rd fastener, rolled trigger guard, gold lined cocking indicators, fine hand cut checkering, drop points on stock, blank initial shield, and auto safety. As you would expect, the gun functions perfectly. The injectors are in time, the double trigger pulls are great, and the lock up is solid. This gun is ready to provide a lifetime of service and you will look great while using it! This gun is begging to be taken to a South Dakota pheasant field!!! Hands down this is one of the highest quality guns you will find in this price range.
