We offer you a “Custom” Remington Model 700 LRT Long Range Target Rifle Chambered in .308 Winchester.
This Remington model 700 was bought new in July of 2012. The original owner wanted to build a long range target rifle so he started with this. His Gunsmith installed a Timney trigger and set the barreled action in the Stocky's AccuBlock Long Range Target / Tactical laminated stock. Just so you know the stock has a darker red-orange appearance when in hand than pictured. He then installed the Oberndorf bottom metal as pictured. On top is a 10 MOA base with a Konus Pro M30 6.5-24x44 30mm electronic scope. Those components installed were over $1,200 alone which does not include the cost of the rifle. The metal finish on the rifle is in excellent condition as you can see. The stock is in the same condition with a few very minor surface marks. The scope is also in excellent condition inside and out and functions as it should with no issues. The total package as pictured weighs in right at 12 3/4 pounds. It was taken out and sighted in for 600 yards and shot very well from the targets that we were shown. Then life caught up with the owner and the gun was put into a gun safe until now. The 26 inch barrel has an excellent bore with no issues and has seen very little use. A complete package that is ready to go to the range.
Many of our estate firearms have been stored for some time and a thorough cleaning and inspection are recommended.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $65. This rifle will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
