Description:
Here is a very old antique Italian Vetterli model 1870/87/15 chambered in 6.5x52mm Carcano. Has a 33.5 inch barrel with a bore that has some rifling but is pretty pitted and worn, which is understandable due to it's age and the corrosive powders they used back in the day. The original wood stock has the usual battle scars for a 100+ year old rifle but is in overall very sound condition and has a length of pull around 13 inches. Looks to have all of the original proof marks. On the left side of the breach it's marked Torre Annunziata 1884 which signifies that it was built in the Torre Annunziata plant in 1884. The serial number is marked on the right side of the breach and also engraved into the wood on the right side. Does not come with any clips or magazines but everything does seem to work on it, including the safety. Overall this would be a very cool collectible to hang on the wall or keep in your safe, and since it's an antique we are able to ship it direct as long as you can legally own a firearm.
