#4855 Smiths Patent (Otis Smith) spur trigger New Line style 2-3/4” x 38RF, with factory presentation scroll engraving and with factory ivory grips. Extremely low serial number (130) and since very few of this model of the Otis Smiths were made, it is probable that the low numbered ones were used as promotional gifts to raise interest in this model. Mechanically it is working OK but has a very stiff mainspring and a very dirty uncleaned bore. The exterior shows a lot of “pocket wear” and only thin traces of the original nickel finish remains and the address is very weak with just enough left to make out what make it is. The ivory grips are really nice with good age checking. A pretty uncommon Smiths Patent model, especially being a presentation engraved quality specimen. $645
