Description:
22 inch barrel chambered in the original 45-75 WCF caliber. About good bore is near bright, rifling shows wear with mild roughness scattered throughout. 1st Model open top receiver with saddle ring on left side. Metal surfaces show a scattered speckled appearance over thinning original finish that is darker in protected areas with scattered light pitting. Standard early carbine post front and tip up rear sights. Mechanics are sound and work as they should. Full length walnut forearm and buttstock are full fitting and solid, showing some oil staining with typical handling marks and a carbine style buttplate.
